Hello, my name is Mayah Morrison. I am a public relations major with a certificate in German language at UT-Austin. On campus, I spend my time working with the Cactus Yearbook, UT EcoCAR and HOOK'D Magazine. I am also a member of Type Texas and University Fashion Group. Additionally, I am a part of the Salzburg Global 2025 Media Academy cohort and a 2025 Running Start Congressional Fellow. ​

As a young and ambitious individual, I remind myself to go where I'll grow and embrace the chaos that comes with it!

Growing up, I wanted to find ways to help lead in impactful and meaningful ways. As I look to my future, I hope to continue effectively communicating with others in order to help develop newsworthy stories that reach a wide audience.

I am an emerging creative strategist with 3 years of experience in increasing brands' online and physical identity. I help brands analyze their market, identify objectives and develop strategies so that clients can become industry leaders.

As I look forward to my education, I plan on expanding my experience with strategic communication at a global level. Knowing how different regions deliver and interpret messages is crucial to gaining a bigger audience while talking about new innovations. I am eager to explore international opportunities that will allow me to apply my skills in a diverse cultural context and contribute to global conversations and new technologies.

I love merging my creativity with ambition to help brands grow and further their success through different communication outlets. Implementing strategy looks different for every brand and brings its own fun challenges to navigate, where a brand's next step should be! When I'm working on improving a brand, I remind myself to consider the environment where the brand will grow and to embrace, on a personal level, the learning experiences that come with working for them.
